Mifid (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive)

TOP 5 BROKERS / VENUE REPORTS

Directive 2014/65/EU (Mifid II) and the related delegated Regulations require Banks that execute or transmit orders on behalf of their customers, to make available once a year, for each financial instrument class, information relating to:

  • the top 5 trading venues in terms of traded volumes;
  • the top 5 brokers in terms of traded volumes;
  • financing operations through securities in terms of volumes traded;
  • quality of the trading.

The relevant legislation defines the manner in which this information must be processed and made available to customers. In particular, the reports must be categorised by type of customer (retail and professional) and easily accessible through the Bank’s website.

Cassa Centrale Banca makes available, through this public section of the Bank’s website, information regarding the quality of trading, as well as reports on the top 5 trading venues and brokers.
