NRRP

What is the NRRP

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is the instrument created by the Italian Government to implement Next Generation EU, the plan approved by the European Union that aims to rebuild Europe and lead the way out of the crisis brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Italy is the first beneficiary of the resources allocated among all the EU Member States, for a total amount of €235 billion.

The 6 missions of Italy’s NRRP

By implementing the guidelines of the European plan, Italy has focused the goals of the NRRP on inclusion, giving priority to bridging the territorial, gender and generational gap.

The role of the Cassa Centrale Group

The Cassa Centrale Group, which has been standing alongside the companies and local areas in which it operates since its inception, has chosen to play an important role in supporting companies looking to access European funds, also thanks to the professionalism of the corporate consultants of its affiliated banks (by providing support in the selection of projects and in obtaining funds) and dedicated financing instruments.

For this reason, the Cassa Centrale Group has chosen to stay close to the beneficiary companies of the NRRP, with an amount of €1 billion that will be usable over a period of 5 years (2021-2026) to support investment plans.
