E-commerce security code

Prepaid cards

Remember to set your e-commerce security code to make more secure purchases using your prepaid card.

You can set the e-commerce security code for your prepaid card through Inbank web.

If you have multiple cards, you can choose the same numeric code ranging from 5 to 10 digits.

The e-commerce security code will be required for e-commerce purchases starting to comply with the payment services directive PSD2, a European regulation intended to make managing payments more secure and convenient.

It is important that you remember it and keep it safe, more and more sites will require you to complete the purchase by entering the code.

After 5 failed attempts to enter the code, which you will be prompted to do after entering the OTP (one-time password) received via text message, the service will remain blocked for 5 minutes. It will then unblock automatically.

If you do not set the code, it will not be possible to authorise any e-commerce transaction within the SCA scope and, therefore, you will not be able to complete your purchase.
